Returns & Refunds Policy

We hope you are delighted with your purchase. However, if you change your mind, we do offer returns in accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (Distance Selling Regulations), with additional conditions to protect against the high cost of logistics for furniture items.

Right to Cancel:

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing within the 14-day window by contacting admin@kyotofurniture.co.uk.

Return Conditions:

Items must be returned in unused, original condition and in their original packaging.
Returns must be initiated and shipped back to us within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation.
You are responsible for the cost of returning the item(s) to us, which must be done using a tracked and insured courier service.
For bulky or heavy items, we can arrange collection at your request, and the cost will be deducted from your refund. Charges vary depending on your location and the size of the item.

Restocking Fee:

Due to the bespoke nature and logistics involved with large furniture, a restocking fee of up to 15% of the item value may be deducted from your refund to cover handling, inspection, and administration costs.

Non-Returnable Items:

We do not accept returns of:
Custom-made or made-to-order furniture
Items damaged due to misuse or not in original packaging
Refunds
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will process your refund (minus any applicable delivery or restocking fees) within 14 days.
